ROLE Captain´s hat has finally found its new captain – Alexander Mikroyannidis, the captain of the dissemination trophy winning team “The Dons” (Open University from UK).
The team has been awarded for their extensive commitment in the ROLE dissemination activities, they have delivered 7 presentations or workshops, wrote 4 scientific publications, published 6 audiofiles and podcasts and represented ROLE project in various social media.
Their biggest achievement was the production of a ROLE course in OpenLearn. This educational material can be used in a variety of learning contexts to promote the project and raise awareness on widgets and PLEs. The ROLE course features a questionnaire about the usefulness and ease of use of PLEs, so that the evaluation data can be gathered. A short promotional video has been developed as well and is accessible at http://www.youtube.com/roleproject#p/a/f/1/l1MShn7ceMQ.
Alexander from OU UK received the prize from Li Na, member of the previous dissemination trophy winner, the Graspers team from the EPFL. The handover ceremony took place during the most recent ROLE Developer Camp in Leuven http://www.role-project.eu/?p=2078.
The ROLE Dissemination Trophy is a challenge cup that is handed to ROLE partners for excellent dissemination work. It is awarded twice a year.
Congratulations to the winner and good luck to all participants of the ROLE dissemination trophy!
