ROLE at International Conferences!

In June and July 2012 ROLE was present at several international e-learning conferences: eLBa in Rostock (Germany), EDULEARN in Barcelona (Spain), PLE in Aveiro (Portugal). The latest project results were represented, potentials and future development perspectives were discussed!

eLearning Baltics (eLBa) Conference (18th-19th June, Rostock, Germany) with a presentation about Personal Learning Management Systems (PLMS) explaining main concepts underlying the development of PLMS as well as representing results of a first prototype evaluation conducted at FESTO Learning Center Saar. EDULEARN Conference (2nd-4th July, Barcelona, Spain) with a presentation about self-regulated workplace learning devoted to the usage of Personal Learning Environments (PLEs), Personal Leaning Management Systems (PLMS) and Mobile Learning Environments (MLEs) to support informal learning activities in an organisation. PLE Conference (11th-13th July, Aveiro, Portugal). Here the ROLE Widget Store, its structure, contents, as well as advanced search and filtering functionalities based on the concepts developed in scope of the ROLE Project, such as Psycho-Pedagogical Integration Model (PPIM) and tool functionality taxonomy, was represented. The concept of widget bundles (predefined sets of widgets) and their usage for learning were discussed.
